Residence using the town sewer system please be advised that on Wednesday March 3, 2021 the lift station pumps were both out of service due to wipes, fat and other items not allowed in the sewer system, including a light bulb. Please Note a disruption to the sewer system could mean anyone using the system will not be able to shower, bath, flush etc. until it is serviced and repaired. Therefore it is on the residence using the system to be vigilant in the care of it, thank you. We have men working on the problem and have the pumps working again now but please be wise and don’t flush any object not intended for the system thank you.

Thinking of flushing those disinfectant cleaning wipes? Please don’t! They are harmful to sewage collection systems and will cause damage. Please dispose of cleaning wipes in the trash.
